So, I'm really trying to catch up on all these blog posts that I'm way behind on. I think after this one, that I only have one more from while my brother's family was in town from Boston. Anyway! My dad had his birthday last month, and the day we celebrated it we all attended church with my parents and enjoyed some time just hanging out. Beforehand though, my mom prepared a really nice brunch that we enjoyed on their balcony.

With presents, instead of of birthday cake, we enjoyed birthday pie! Nothing wrong with breaking away from the traditional birthday treat, right? My dad's favorite pie is German Chocolate too...mmmm.
